Thunder coach interrupted by howling Timberwolves fans after Game 3

The Timberwolves thrashed the Thunder 143-101 in Game 3, and the home crowd's howls were so loud they interrupted Mark Daigneault's post-game press conference.

The Minnesota Timberwolves delivered a crushing blow to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, dominating with a 143-101 win — the worst playoff defeat of Mark Daigneault's coaching tenure.

The game wasn't the only spectacle, though.

As fans filed out of Target Center, a wave of celebratory howls erupted throughout the arena.

The noise was so intense that it carried into the postgame area, making it difficult for Daigneault even to hear the reporters' questions during his post-game press conference.

"The looks, I think we generate a lot more rhythm in the other games than we did tonight, and I thought that impacted our rhythm stepping into those shots," Daigneault said. "Some of that was them. I thought they did a great job offensively and defensively, especially from the jump.

"And some of that is us. And we need to, obviously, address the stuff that we can control, and be a much better team in Game 4 if we want to give ourselves a better chance that we had tonight."

Despite the lopsided result, OKC still leads the series 2-1.
