Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes continues to be linked with a mega-money Saudi Arabia move this summer.
Ruben Amorim is starting a monumental rebuild at Manchester United this summer and with no European football to look forward to, the Red Devils will have to consider selling some of their biggest stars to fund their own transfer business.
While Alejandro Garnacho has been told to leave by Amorim, he could be followed out the door by plenty of other big names.
Bruno Fernandes is wanted by Al-Hilal, and the Saudi Pro League club are willing to offer money that Ineos might find hard to refuse.
Reports claim Al-Hilal are willing to pay £100m for Fernandes and have set a 72-hour deadline for the Portuguese midfielder to make a decision.

What Man United players have said about potential Bruno Fernandes exit
United’s season comes to an end on Sunday afternoon with a final Old Trafford clash against Aston Villa. Fans will be glad to see the curtain drawn on 2024/25, but they will also hope this is not the last time we see Bruno Fernandes at the Theatre of Dreams.
After losing the Europa League final, Fernandes offered to leave United if Ineos wanted to cash in. Amorim wants Fernandes to stay, but a £100 million fee would go a long way towards funding a rebuild.

However, not only would Ineos be going against Amorim if they sanctioned a sale, but they would also be going against the wishes of United’s dressing room.
According to The Sun, United players are “desperate” for Fernandes to stay with the squad heading into 2025/26.
They claim players have personally messaged Fernandes to convince him to stay, with one source suggesting “the dressing room would fall apart” if the captain departed.
Bruno Fernandes should finally be recognised as a leader
Clearly, Fernandes is valued by his teammates not only for his on-pitch performances but also for his impact around the dressing room as the club captain.
Fernandes’ leadership has been questioned by Roy Keane and others in recent years, but frankly he has been a beacon of light in what Amorim named the worst United side in history.
In Bilbao, Fernandes did struggle in the final against Tottenham, but once again it proved that when he is slightly off his game, the rest of this squad cannot step up.

United would be in for a lot more pain if they did sell Fernandes this summer. The 30-year-old is simply irreplaceable, and Amorim needs strong characters and leaders for his rebuild.
Fernandes has already rejected Saudi offers in the past, and his teammates are clearly hoping for a similar outcome this time around too.
