Aaron Rodgers Tries Scaring Bears Fans In Cringefest Interview

If there’s one thing we know about Aaron Rodgers, it is that there isn’t anything on this planet he loves more than sounding cool. For all his brilliance on the field, the former Green Bay Packers and New York Jets quarterback has this weird obsession with getting lots of media attention but acting like he hates it. That is why he often takes forever to decide whether he’ll play or not each offseason. The parallels between him and Brett Favre never cease to amaze. Well, it appears he was up to his old tricks this past week.

The quarterback attended an event with rapper Mike Stud, where he answered various fan questions. One inevitably asked whether he’d ever consider joining the Chicago Bears, his longtime rival. Rodgers was quick to decline that possibility but did drop the least subtle hint ever about the possibility of playing at Soldier Field this season.

“I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year on a road trip.”

If you hadn’t paid attention for the past month, the Bears play the Pittsburgh Steelers at home during the 2025 season. Rodgers has been connected to that organization since the offseason began. Many feel it’s a virtual certainty he’ll eventually join them.

Aaron Rodgers should know that his aura has faded.

This isn’t the same player who terrorized Bears fans for over a decade in Green Bay. He is 14-21 over the past three seasons with a passer rating of 90.7. That is nowhere closer to the Hall of Fame-caliber play he’d been accustomed to for ages. The idea that Chicago will be intimidated by his return feels outdated. He isn’t the same player who will have the well-oiled machine of Green Bay at his back. The Steelers have plenty of questions surrounding their roster ahead of this season, particularly on offense. Aaron Rodgers can’t put a team on his back like he used to. Besides, the Bears already exorcised plenty of demons when they beat the Packers last season. Slaying the Rodgers demon is next on the list, something new head coach Ben Johnson will likely take great pleasure in.
