Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho's partner leaves no doubt with telling Instagram post

Alejandro Garnacho's partner has all but confirmed his exit from Manchester United with a telling social media post. The winger has reportedly been told to find a new club by Ruben Amorim after kicking up a fuss for only being given 19 minutes off the bench in the Europa League final.

Garnacho was forced to watch on helplessly for most of the game as United slumped to a gut-wrenching defeat against Tottenham, denying them a spot in next season's Champions League. His brother then publicly criticised Amorim for 'throwing him under the bus' after watching a dejected Garnacho collect his runners-up medal.

That may have been the final straw for the former Sporting boss, as according to The Athletic, he informed the dressing room earlier this week that Garnacho would be free to find himself a new home in the upcoming transfer window.

The 20-year-old's partner, Eva Garcia, effectively confirmed as much hours before United's final-day Premier League clash with Aston Villa. Posting a picture of a small child's United kit, she wrote "last match" along with a crying emoji and a heart emoji.

Chelsea and Napoli explored deals for Garnacho during the January transfer window, and they could reignite their interest given the tense relationship between the youngster and his manager.

Amorim refused to be drawn into specifics after United's Bilbao heartbreak, saying: "The focus now is the last game. I don’t know what is going to happen. We have a plan, we were prepared for both situations – with Champions League and without Champions League.

"We have an idea of the type of squad we want but now we focus on the game because we still have the last game, and we have time to address all these situations."

Garnacho could be one of numerous first-team regulars to depart. Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee and Andre Onana have also been linked with moves elsewhere after a torrid season for the Old Trafford faithful.

Even captain Bruno Fernandes said that he would be willing to leave if the club decided it was the right time to cash in. "I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go," he said.

"I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club the great days. On the day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know. If the club thinks it's time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in or whatever, it's what it is, and football sometimes is like this."
