ESPN Analyst Makes Bold Shedeur Sanders Prediction

The Cleveland Browns are the NFL team with the most quarterbacks on their roster with five, and that means the team needs to make a decision regarding who is going to start the first game of the 2025 season.

Deshaun Watson is ruled out, as he is still recovering from injury, so that just leaves Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and the ever-controversial Shedeur Sanders.

On a recent episode of ESPN's Get Up, Domonique Foxworth made a bold prediction on who he thinks is going to be suiting up under center when it comes time for the Browns to face off with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.

"Shedeur Sanders will be the starting quarterback for the Browns entering the season," Foxworth said. "I think they want to know what they have in either Shedeur or Gabriel before the season is over because there’s a chance they’ll be at the top of a good quarterback draft again next year. I think they’ll move quickly to get those guys on the field to see what kind of players they will be."

The Browns are coming off of a season where they went 3-14, so what exactly do they have to lose.

Sanders racked up 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns on 74 percent completion in his final season at Colorado, all of which led the Big 12. As for Gabriel, his stats were not as good, but he still threw 72 percent completion.

The Browns were able to get the former Colorado star in the width round of the 2025 NFL Draft, so if he can become the team's starting quarterback, it would be quite the story.
