Sunderland ace Jobe Bellingham received a message from his brother, Jude, after the Black Cats recorded their return to the Premier League.
Sunderland beat Sheffield United at Wembley to clinch their return to the Premier League, eight years after they dropped out of the top flight.
It is an incredible feat for the Black Cats, seeing off Coventry City with a last gasp winner, followed by Brighton-bound Tommy Watson bagging a brilliant finish late on that he caressed past Michael Cooper from outside the box – two goals that truly emphasised the club’s “‘Til The End’ motto used in the play-offs.
The dramatic win for Regis Le Bris’ Sunderland side cued pandemonium amongst the fans and players, with Jude Bellingham even getting in on the act, sending his brother, Jobe, a heartfelt message on how ‘proud’ he is.

Jude Bellingham tells Jobe how ‘proud’ he is as Sunderland return to the Premier League
In the heart of the midfield, particularly in the second half, Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham played a crucial role, helping deal with the threat posed by Vini Souza and Sydie Peck in the Sheffield United side.
After his impeccable performance, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham took to Instagram, where he posted a screenshot of himself on FaceTime with his brother celebrating, with the caption: “So f______ proud.”
Jude wasn’t the only one to show their support from outside the Sunderland camp – Jordan Henderson also congratulated the Black Cats, whilst Darren Bent praised the ‘fantastic’ side.

Black Cats play-off win could give Jobe Bellingham second thoughts about departure
It does look likely that Jobe will depart Sunderland amid significant interest from Borussia Dortmund, the club that nurtured Jude until his big-money move to Real Madrid.
Whilst it will be difficult to persuade Bellingham to turn down such an opportunity, maybe the squad togetherness following such a massive win could be enough to turn his head.
Jobe, like his brother, is destined for the very top in his career, and he will achieve that whether he moves on this summer or stays to notch a season of Premier League football.
It is a win-win for Sunderland and Jobe if he were to stay at the club, providing that he will stay at the top level, no matter how the Black Cats finish next season in the Premier League – Bellingham needs to realise how far he has come at the Stadium of Light, and that it could be the best route for his career to stay at the club.
