Newcastle United vs Everton LIVE - team news, kick-off time, TV channel, score and stream

Good afternoon and welcome to the ECHO's live coverage of Everton's trip to Newcastle United in the Premier League.

It's the final fixture of the season for the Blues and they know they will finish in 13th regardless of today's result. However, they could potentially ruin the party for their hosts, who have Champions League football to play for.

Everton were 2-0 winners over Southampton last weekend in an emotional farewell game to Goodison Park. They did pick up a significant injury though, with Jarrad Branthwaite ruled out of today's game with a hamstring issue; Tim Iroegbunam will also miss the game.

The match could be the final one for a number of the current squad too, with Ashley Young and Abdoulaye Doucoure both confirmed to be leaving at the end of the season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane are among others facing uncertain futures.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Harrison will also play the final games of their current loan agreements.

Newcaslte know victory will guarantee them a Champions League spot for next season, but if they slip up they could be usurped in the top five by Chelsea, Aston Villa or Nottingham Forest.

The match will be a big one for former Blues forward Anthony Gordon, who saw a penalty saved by Newcastle nemesis Jordan Pickford in the reverse fixture at Goodison.

Joe Thomas and Chris Beesley are in attendance. Kick off is at 4 p.m. (BST), with team news on the way 75 minutes earlier.

One final time this season then Blues.

There is nothing whatsoever for Everton to play for today in terms of the Premier League table, but it would be nice to ruin Newcastle's party wouldn't it?
