**At 4pm (not 4:30 as I've been convinced was the case all week), Newcastle United take on Everton at St James' Park in the final game of the 2024/25 season.**
A win for Newcastle guarantees Eddie Howe's men a place in next season's Champions League, whereas any other result leaves our fate in the hands of other teams.
It's about as must-win as it gets, then, as we don't want to be relying on favours from other teams on the final day.
Thankfully, Newcastle have received a double injury boost just in time for today's match.

Wrong again!
Alexander Isak returns to start for Newcastle today
---------------------------------------------------
Despite not having trained this week, Eddie Howe has been able to welcome back Alexander Isak into his starting lineup today.
Kieran Trippier hinted at his availability this morning, and while he's returned to the matchday squad, he has to make do with a place on the bench.
Eddie Howe has once again gone with Harvey Barnes and Anthony Gordon together with Jacob Murphy playing a wing-back role.
Everton's defence is non-existent
---------------------------------
Uber-Mackem Jordan Pickford starts for Everton while perennial Newcastle United target Dominic Calvert-Lewin is nowhere to be seen.
Beto starts up front for the Toffees with Armando Broja on the bench.
With Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski both missing and 900-year-old Ashley Young starting, Alexander Isak should be rubbing his hands together today.
HOWAY THE LADS!
