Former Manchester United star Eric Cantona has sent fans into a meltdown after he shared the moment he collected his custom all electric Ford Capri on Instagram.

The football legend is famed for his expressions on and off the pitch – so it’s no surprise he opted for Signal Orange colour – picking a historic Ford colour used on the 1970 Mark III Capri.

The custom Ford Capri features a crown shaped 3D emblem on the rear and a number 7 in gloss black on the side. The car was the result of a 12-month campaign between Cantona and Ford which saw the Premier League icon relaunch the original of Ford staple– 38 years after it was discontinued.
