Monza have been effectively relegated for weeks if not months, and it was no surprise to see the game played in a wide-open nature given that neither side had nothing on the line.
Milan, as they should have been, were in the ascendancy for large parts. The 55% possession, 1.42xG and three big chances show this, compared to Monza’s 0.33xG and one big chance.
