With The Red Devils now set to miss out on £140 million in revenue next for next season, summer sales are going to be even more essential to have any hope of rebuilding Ruben Amorim’s squad.

It’s understood that Amorim has a budget of around £100 million for his summer rebuild, seemingly targeting Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap which will use £92.5 million of this pot.

As such, the club will have to sell some of their stars to buy more players.

With the club looking to offload the likes of Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Antony, attention has now turned to one of United’s brightest academy graduates.

The board is under pressure to balance the books in line with Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR), and selling a homegrown talent could provide a valuable financial boost.

CentreDevils revealed yesterday that Alejandro Garnacho will leave Manchester United, seemingly playing his last game vs Spurs in the Final.

The Argentina international, who has scored 11 goals in 57 appearances this season, was limited to just 20 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Spurs on Wednesday – a decision that left him “deeply unhappy,” according to reports.

Amorim recently told Garnacho he is not in his plans and can leave United this summer, as reported by David Ornstein.

Now, TBR Football reports that Garnacho’s representatives have just had communication with Arsenal over a potential switch from Manchester United.

Garnacho has accepted that his future lies away from United, and Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Napoli remain hugely keen.

It’s understood that Garnacho would cost around €60m (£51m).
