Jack Grealish has been left out of Manchester City’s squad for the final day of the Premier League season in yet another hint that his days under Pep Guardiola are numbered.
The former Aston Villa captain wasn’t included in City’s travelling party to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in their final match.
This is another blow to Grealish who has played just 144 minutes of Premier League football since completing 90 minutes against Villa at Villa Park on December 21.
Grealish made it onto the pitch in stoppage time of City’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth in midweek having been an unused substitute in the previous five games, including the FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace at Wembley.
When City were chasing an equaliser against Palace, Guardiola overlooked Grealish, instead reaching for 19-year-old debutant Claudio Echeverri.
Grealish is looking increasingly likely to depart The Etihad this summer, four years after he became the Premier League’s record signing when he transferred to City from Villa for £100million.
Newcastle United are reportedly among the clubs keen to acquire Grealish, 29, from City this summer
