It comes after sources informed TBR Football that Chelsea had spoken to Garnacho’s representatives about a move to west London, with the Argentine believed to be frustrated with life under Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese coach dropped the Manchester United No.17 from the starting XI for the UEFA Europa League final defeat against Tottenham, and is believed to have told him he is free to leave Old Trafford.

TBR Football understand Manchester United value Garnacho at £51m with Arsenal also keen – the Red Devils have an added need to raise cash after defeat to Spurs in Bilbao, with no revenue coming in from European football next season.

TBR Football understand Chelsea could immediately sell Sancho to Borussia Dortmund, who are keen to bring the winger back to Germany.

Therefore, Garnacho – who Danny Murphy called “special” – could replace the Londoner at Chelsea, as both typically tend to operate on the left flank, cutting inside on their stronger right foot.
