Tom Brady has only been part of Las Vegas Raiders ownership for several months, but he's already made a serious impact. However, he doesn't live in Las Vegas and is rarely at the team facility.
With that in mind, he could be looking to own another football team closer to his home in Florida that would be much cheaper than an NFL team. Mark Perry of UFL News Hub reported that the UFL is hoping to expand and add teams in Oakland, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia and New Jersey.
According to Perry, Brady could be eyeing a piece of the Tampa Bay franchise.

"This location surprised me as it did not do well in the USFL reboot or the XFL under the (Tampa) Bay Vipers," Perry wrote. "However, I have heard from sources that NFL legend Tom Brady is interested in purchasing a UFL team. I did not believe that rumor until I saw this. Brady lives in the Tampa area. The only reason to bring the Bandits back, based on locations run in the XFL and USFL, is if they had an owner in place."
Brady would face far fewer restrictions as an owner of a UFL team than he currently does with the NFL. There shouldn't be any reason why he can't be a part-owner of teams in both leagues.
Brady's name would certainly help attract some interest in the UFL, especially in the Tampa Bay area. Time will tell if it happens, but it could be a win-win for both Brady and the UFL.
