A year after his emotional goodbye, Jurgen Klopp returned to Anfield amidst wild celebrations as Liverpool toasted to their latest league triumph.
The iconic German skipper walked away last summer after a transformative nine-year stint that set the stage for this season’s crowning glory.
Prior to Klopp taking the helm in 2015, Liverpool had snagged just a single piece of silverware in nearly a decade, but under his leadership, they ascended to the pinnacle of football, claiming every major title on offer.
Klopp's Reds clinched the Champions League and Premier League titles, additionally securing second place in both contests twice.
Despite leading comfortably in the previous season, Liverpool experienced a dramatic dip in form, paving the way for Arne Slot to steer the same squad to victory this term.

The Liverpool faithful showered Klopp with adulation as he turned up for the match against Palace, eagerly snapping photos with the celebrated German, who even joined fans in belting out 'You'll Never Walk Alone', reports Liverpool.com.
Slot, who has consistently sung Klopp's praises since taking over at Liverpool, extended an invite to Klopp to visit the team at the training ground before their clash with Palace.
Capturing his sentimental return on Instagram, Klopp shared: "Wow, time is flying, 373 days after my last training session. I will be back at the training ground, wow.

Klopp is sure to have had some reassuring words for Trent Alexander-Arnold as he showed his support for the right-back ahead of his rumoured summer switch to Real Madrid.
Alexander-Arnold faced jeers from Liverpool fans during his recent stint at Anfield, and it's up in the air if he'll make an appearance against Palace on Sunday.
Klopp slammed the Liverpool fans who booed him during the Arsenal match, stating: "I don't want to tell you what you have to think. I can tell you what you think is wrong.
"I don't tell you you should not be angry, you should not be disappointed, I tell you don't forget. This club doesn't forget.

"I watched the game when he came on and I heard the booing. I switched the telly [television] off. Honestly, I could not have been more disappointed at this moment."
