Man Utd ratings vs Aston Villa, Bruno Fernandes and Amad shine but 8/10 star was the biggest hero of the season

Manchester United saved their best for last as a blistering display on the final matchday saw them blow away Aston Villa in a 2-0 win that could have been much more.

The timid Europa League side were nowhere to be seen as Man Utd put Aston Villa under the cosh by repeatedly testing Emi Martinez.

However, the season was summed up as they couldn’t take advantage of this spell, wasting numerous chances as Martinez saw red at the stroke of half-time.

The second half continued the pattern of United’s attack vs Villa’s defence but Ruben Amorim remained frustrated as nobody took any of the numerous chances.

A poetic goal was needed to break the deadlock, as Fernandes created for Amad to give United a well-deserved lead.

Amad earned a penalty then which was ceremoniously scored by Eriksen to sign off his time at Old Trafford.
