Mohamed Salah equals Premier League record

It’s been coming all season.

You could see it from the early weeks.

Mohamed Salah was playing at a different level.

Goals, assists, presence—he had it all.

Week in, week out, he delivered for Liverpool.

Fans noticed. So did rivals.

By December, it already felt like something special was brewing.

And when you talk to fans, they don’t just mention the goals.

They talk about how consistent he is.

How he carries the attack.

How he always shows up in the big moments.

Liverpool needed a leader in this title race—and Salah became exactly that.

Now, it’s official.

Mohamed Salah has equalled the all-time Premier League record for most goal involvements in a single season.

He hit 47 goal involvements—goals plus assists—on the final day against Crystal Palace.

That number matches the record held by Alan Shearer (1994/95) and Andrew Cole (1993/94).

But here’s the twist.

Both Shearer and Cole set their records in a 42-game season.

Salah matched it in just 38 games.

That’s a major difference. Back then, the league had 22 teams.

Now, it’s only 20. Salah didn’t just match the number.

He did it with fewer chances.

Salah’s 47 came from 29 goals and 18 assists.

His 29 goals earned him the Golden Boot—his fourth.

He also won the Playmaker award for the most assists in the league.

No other player got more than 12.

He came close to breaking the assists record too.

The current mark is 20—set by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.

Salah ended just two shy.

That moment summed up the season. He wasn’t just winning titles. He was rewriting history.

And the numbers keep stacking up. He now has 186 Premier League goals—just one behind Andy Cole in the all-time charts.

He’s also at 245 goals for Liverpool.

Only Ian Rush and Roger Hunt have more.

From October to April, from West Ham to Spurs to Palace—Salah made this season his own.
