Three Manchester United exits confirmed, and 10 more who could follow

Manchester United have confirmed that three players will leave the club at the end of the season.

A disastrous season came to an end as Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It was an opportunity for several players to say goodbye to the Theatre of Dreams for the final time, with many members of United’s first team facing uncertain futures.

That made the occasion extra emotional, even though United fans are angry after a frustrating campaign that saw the team finish 15th in the Premier League and lose the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur.

Ruben Amorim also addressed the crowd at full-time with a speech, promising that better days are coming so long as everyone sticks together.

United fully deserved their win over Aston Villa. Fans may ask why the team couldn’t perform like that throughout the season.

Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans all set to leave Man Utd

Manchester United say goodbye to three experienced professionals this summer after confirming that Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen will leave the club at the end of the season.

Lindelof has left United after making 284 appearances since his arrival from Benfica in 2017. The Swede won the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Evans leaves United after two spells at the club. He graduated from the United Academy and won the Premier League title in 2013 after forming a partnership alongside Rio Ferdinand.

Evans amassed 241 appearances in a red shirt and won three Premier League titles, one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one League Cup and one FA Cup.

Thirdly, Eriksen will be looking for a new club in the summer. The Dane scored in his final appearance for the club after stepping up to the penalty spot against Aston Villa.

The midfielder made 107 appearances for the club and won two trophies, including the FA Cup and League Cup.

After the full-time whistle, United players did a lap of honour to show their appreciation for the fans. The three players leaving the club received a great ovation from the Old Trafford faithful.

10 more players could leave Man Utd

Ineos are planning a squad overhaul to help bring in better players for Amorim to work with in the future.

That means Amorim will need to be reckless with some of his players, especially those he feels are holding the team back, whether it’s due to their attitude or talent.

Here are 10 United players facing uncertain futures this summer:

Andre Onana

Alejandro Garnacho

Luke Shaw

Casemiro

Rasmus Hojlund

Altay Bayindir

Marcus Rashford

Antony

Tyrell Malacia

Jadon Sancho

Of course, there could be other players on the way out of Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, which would be deemed controversial as he’s been Amorim’s best player this season.
