Arsenal could be surprise contenders to sign Alejandro Garnacho in the summer transfer window, according to reports - with the Manchester United winger set to be on the move from Old Trafford in the coming months.
Garnacho has been one of United's better players in what has been a torrid season for the Red Devils, but their lack of silverware and no European football next season will set the club back in terms of their ambitions. One way to raise cash would be to sell the youngster - and that could see Mikel Arteta make a move to bolster his squad.

The report by TBR Football states that United star Garnacho has been 'quite upset' by Amorim's technical decisions, and he's reportedly decided to leave Old Trafford as a result. Garnacho's agents are thought to have 'begun looking' towards north London as a potential destination, having been in contact with the Gunners to confirm his current situation - and that could see a move blossom in the future.

The Argentine international has already gone public with his concerns about not starting against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, only coming off the bench with 20 minutes to go in Bilbao - and he believes he has the necessary talent to be one of the most important players at the club, having been described as 'incredible' last season by Rasmus Hojlund.
Amorim is thought to have taken the opposite view, encouraging the speedster to contact his agent in a bid to engineer a potential move away from the club. Garnacho's patience has been 'exhausted', and given that he's been asked to start looking for the right team, Arsenal are a team that he could look to offer himself to.
The north London outfit are in need of a winger to offer competition for Bukayo Saka on the right-wing, and to start over Gabriel Martinelli for minutes on the left.
Given Garnacho's extensive Premier League experience at the age of just 20, in which he's already scored 16 goals in just 93 appearances for a struggling United side, a move to Arsenal where he's always on the front foot could be just the tonic for Arteta, given the Madrid-born star has now had three full seasons in the top-flight.
