David Moyes could potentially play a massive role as Everton look to sign Liam Delap in the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees want to strengthen their attack next summer, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract at Goodison Park expiring soon.
Delap could move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the coming months after presenting their project to the 22-year-old striker.
After an impressive campaign at Ipswich Town, who have been relegated from the Premier League, the English centre-forward has a big decision to make on his future.

Moyes right manager for Delap as Everton want transfer
Moyes could be the right person to manage Delap at this stage of his career, Tony Cascarino says.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The talkSPORT pundit feels the 22-year-old should move to the Toffees when asked what the best option for him would be, as the youngster still needs a lot of work done on him.

Delap’s Premier League record this season.
Cascarino believes the Blues would be a “viable option” for the English centre-forward as he looks to continue his development in the Premier League.
Speaking on talkSPORT (25 May), the former Ireland international said: “There’s something about me that thinks Moyes. I just think [Delap] needs a lot of work on him still.
“Someone like Moyes… will probably be the right person at this stage of his career.
“Everton would be a really good viable option.”
Delap should prioritise move to Hill Dickinson Stadium
Manchester United are also in the race for Delap ahead of the upcoming transfer window, but a move to Merseyside seems more sensible.
The Red Devils are struggling this season, and the pressure of playing for them has seen a promising prospect like Rasmus Hojlund lose his confidence.
Moyes will undoubtedly need more depth up front next season, with Armando Broja returning to Chelsea after his loan spell.
Everton have relied on Beto in recent months, and while the Guinea-Bissau striker has scored some crucial goals, he’s mostly been unreliable since his move to Goodison Park.
If Calvert-Lewin leaves, Delap will arguably be Moyes’ first-choice number nine as the Toffees look to start a new era under The Friedkin Group (TFG).
The ex-Manchester City youngster may have the opportunity to get regular minutes under the Scottish manager, which could potentially be unlikely at Old Trafford.
What the 22-year-old decides to do with his future remains to be seen, but the Merseyside outfit must surely push for his signing.
