Ruben Amorim has revealed that Manchester United have a ‘plan’ for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Old Trafford on the final day of the Premier League to put an end to a dire campaign.
The Red Devils secured three points thanks to goals from Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen to finish the season in 15th place.
United’s season hit a new low during the week when Ruben Amorim’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
However, change is coming after a turbulent campaign.
United announced three departures after the full-time whistle as Jonny Evans, Eriksen and Victor Lindelof are set to see their contracts expire.
Amorim is expected to use the upcoming transfer window to strengthen his squad, especially in the attacking department, following links to Wolves striker Matheus Cunha.

More United News
After losing the final on Wednesday night, United’s hierarchy must think outside the box to ensure Amorim has a better squad at the start of next season.
Speaking to BBC Sport after United’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa, Amorim was asked about the summer transfer plans.
“You know better than me that we have rules with FFP,” Amorim said. “We can’t change that in this year.
“We need to do something in the summer. We have a plan and we are doing that in a while. We also have a pre-season to improve the players we have.”
United will travel to the United States for their pre-season tour this summer. Amorim will hope to have most of the new signings before that begins to ensure they are ready for the 2025/26 campaign.
Matheus Cunha says goodbye to Wolves fans
With United heavily linked with a move to Cunha, the Brazil international appeared to say goodbye to Wolves fans following their final game of the season.
Wolves drew 1-1 against Brentford on the final day of the season, and Cunha played the entire match.
In the footage below, Cunha can be seen sharing a moment with the Wolves fans.
It could be the last time they see him wearing their shirt.
