The 25-year-old will wear the no.10 jersey, a shirt which currently belongs to Marcus Rashford.

talkSPORT has previously reported that Rashford does not have a future at Man United under Ruben Amorim.

And Rashford, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa, losing his shirt number suggests he will be on the move again.

Cunha is poised to arrive at United following an impressive season in which he registered 15 goals and six assists for Wolves from 33 league appearances.

Predominantly used as an attacking midfielder under Gary O'Neil and Vitor Pereira, the 15 goals is the most he has scored in a single league season.

However, the 2024/25 campaign wasn't without its drama for the Brazilian.

He served a four-match suspension due to a red card he picked up following Wolves' FA Cup exit against Bournemouth.

The Brazilian headbutted and kicked Cherries defender Milos Kerkez and was also slapped with a £50,000 fine on top of the four-game suspension.

Cunha was also at the centre of controversy following Ipswich Town's 2-1 win over Wolves at Molineux in December.

He was involved in an altercation with an Ipswich staff member, who he appeared to elbow and remove his glasses.

Cunha was subsequently charged with misconduct by the Football Association [FA] and handed a two-match ban, as well as an £80,000 fine.

Initial consideration had been given to a three-match ban alongside a £120,000 fine by a regulatory commission.

However, as per their written reasons, it was agreed that Cunha had accepted the charge and offered a prompt, sincere apology.

The 25-year-old also offered to pay for new glasses, with his clean disciplinary record another mitigating factor in the reductions.
