Manchester United’s long 2024/25 season is not quite over. Two postseason friendlies remain.
Earlier in 2025 it was announced Manchester United would join the trend of Premier League clubs heading on lucrative postseason tours.
Like it or not, it’s happening, with Manchester United set to earn £8 million in revenue from the two games in Asia.
The money is a PSR boost for the club, and the tour is set to get underway, with the squad now flying out.

Manchester United have now confirmed the squad of players who have flown out to Asia for the tour, with matches in Malaysia and Kong Kong.
As expected there are a number of young players involved, who would love the chance to impress head coach Ruben Amorim.
Goalkeepers: Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton.
Defenders: Harry Amass, Dan Armer, Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu, Jonny Evans, Tyler Fredricson, Ayden Heaven, Jaydan Kamason, Godwill Kukonki, Harry Maguire, Reece Munro, Luke Shaw.
More United News
Midfielders: Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Bruno Fernandes, Tyler Fletcher, Sekou Kone, Kobbie Mainoo, Jack Moorhouse, Mason Mount, Jim Thwaites, Manuel Ugarte.
Forwards: Alejandro Garnacho, Amad, Rasmus Hojlund, Shea Lacey, Chido Obi, Joshua Zirkzee.
Squad verdict
It is a surprise to see Alejandro Garnacho included amid expectations he will leave the club. The three players whose exits have been confirmed do not feature, Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, and Victor Lindelof.
There are a lot of young players involved, notably defenders Dan Armer and Reece Munro, in addition to Tyler Fredricson, Godwill Kukonki and Jaydan Kamason.
Shea Lacey is an exciting name in attack, with Sekou Kone, Tyler Fletcher, Jack Fletcher, Jim Thwaites and Jack Moorhouse making up the midfield.
With two matches to be played, there is a strong chance United end up making 11 changes at half-time in each game, to share out as much playing time as possible.
