The Timberwolves did their jobs by getting on the board with their first win of the series and by sending a message to the Thunder with a 143-101 blowout win. Oklahoma City cruised in Games 1 and 2 at Paycom Center, but Minnesota fired up its own fans by outscoring the Thunder by 20 points in the first quarter (34-14) and making the West Finals a series again.

Anthony Edwards dropped 30 points to lead a fast-and-furious offensive attack for the Wolves, who combined to shoot 57.3% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range. The Wolves’ size paid dividends with a plus-19 advantage on the glass (50-31) and tight defense that held the Thunder to just 40.7% shooting in the game.
