Arsenal are reportedly set to rival Manchester City in the race for Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White has been linked with a move to City, where Pep Guardiola is trying to find a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne. The Cityzens' chances of signing the Englishman have improved after Forest's defeat to Chelsea on the final day of the season saw them miss out on Champions League qualification.
Football Insider reports that Arsenal are now "set to compete" with City for the 25-year-old attacking midfielder with two years left on his contract. The Gunners are looking to build a squad that can put up a better fight for the Premier League title next season after finishing 10 points behind champions Liverpool.
