Liverpool fans celebrate winning the Premier League outside Anfield
Liverpool fans were out in force on Sunday celebrating the side's 20th league title throughout the city. Red plumes of smoke could be seen for miles coming from outside Anfield as the jubilant fans welcomed the team coach to the stadium.
During the games, thousands of fans filled the streets as they waited for the side to be crowned champions of England in front of fans for the first time in more than 30 years.
As red smoke filled the air, fans sang and danced their hearts out, with the ECHO capturing the raw emotion in more than 100 photos.
Following the game, fans across Anfield and Liverpool city centre began partying, as supporters were seen climbing up street signs on Slater Street when the party spilt into the streets.
Concert Square and Ranelagh Street both hosted hundreds of people singing in unison while holding cardboard cut outs of the trophy they had long waited to see their team lift in front of supporters after the last league title came during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We have put together some of the best photos from the incredible day which saw the city turn red.
