Obi Toppin Brings the House Down With Thunder Dunk vs. New York Knicks

The Indiana Pacers put plenty of distance between themselves and the New York Knicks on the scoreboard during Sunday night's game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis as they looked to increase their Eastern Conference Finals lead to 3-0.

The Knicks hung tight with the Pacers midway through the second quarter as the Pacers attempted to extend their four-point first quarter lead.

As the Knicks attempted to mount their comeback, the wheels began to come off.

Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton combined with power forward Obi Toppin on an incredible fast break play that practically broke the Internet on Sunday as fans discussed the incredible display of teamwork and athleticism they had witnessed.

"LOB IT UP!!" the Pacers' official X account wrote on Sunday as they shared video of the play.

"Tyrese Haliburton throws up the fast break lob to Obi Toppin," they added with an explosion emoji.

Haliburton stole the ball from what appeared to be a fatigued Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson before heading down toward the opposite end of the court.

He flipped up a right handed alley oop that Toppin flushed with his right hand.

"That place is rocking!" one fan said.

"What a sequence!" another added.

"NBA Champs!!!" another said.

The Pacers took a 58-45 halftime lead into the locker room while Knicks fans, players and coaches were left to wonder what happened to a team that looked poised to win Game 1 at Madison Square Garden before Haliburton's late game heroics.

The Knicks found themselves within two quarters of staring down the barrel at a possible elimination game in Game 4, a proposition that likely would not end well for coach Tom Thibodeau's team.
