Underrated Bills Lineman Gets Surprising Grade

When you think of the Buffalo Bills, the first names that come to mind are league MVP Josh Allen, outspoken left tackle Dion Dawkins, and defensive tackle Ed Oliver.

But if the Bills are going to find a way to get over the hump in the conference, players not normally discussed will need to step up. One of those players already seems to have done so.

Right tackle Spencer Brown may not get the kind of coverage All-Pro stars like Lane Johnson and Penei Sewell get. He has been a key cog in Buffalo's offensive line alongside Dawkins, though.

Brown's importance to the team cannot be overstated. In a breakdown of the most important players of the future for the organization, Buffalo Rumblings listed Brown third behind Dawkins and Allen.

"Brandon Beane looks like a genius for extending Brown prior to the 2024 season," Buffalo Rumblings wrote. "The former third-round pick played at a Pro Bowl level last season, missing just one game with an injury. Brown is still just 27 years old, and has solidified the right tackle position for the Bills.

"He should continue to shine this season, with all five starters returning along the offensive line."

In many ways, Brown is the future of the offensive line for Buffalo. The better he plays, the more accolades will eb expected to come his way as well.

Eventually, he may even become more important than someone like Dawkins has been for the entire group.

Time will tell in that regard, though.
