Ex Giants Star WR Could Make Major Career Announcement

Former New York Giants star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. will enter his 11th season in the NFL in 2025 ... maybe.

After spending an unproductive season with the Miami Dolphins last year where he posted just 55 yards on nine catches across nine games, OBJ once again finds himself a free agent on the open market.

As we approach June, Beckham has very little interest from around the league.

Beckham spent 2023 with the Baltimore Ravens, a team that desperately needed a veteran wideout presence with a then-former league MVP under center. But OBJ could muster no more than 565 yards on 35 catches and three touchdowns.

The past two seasons have been a far cry from his five seasons in New York when he made three Pro Bowls, was named Offensive Rookie of the Year, and was a two-time Second-Team All-Pro.

The former LSU Tiger standout turns 33 in November and has a significant injury history.

His last 1,000-yard receiving season came in 2019 in Cleveland, and he's totalled just 2,013 yards across seven seasons since. He also missed all of 2022 with a torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl win over the Bengals when he was with the Rams.

With very little interest from any teams, it's likely OBJ could make a decision soon to call it a career and officially retire.

Across his 10-year career, he's posted 7,987 yards on 575 receptions with 59 touchdowns.
