Man Utd could sell the academy star in the summer transfer window.
Alejandro Garnacho might have played his final match for Manchester United after he was left out of their squad to face Aston Villa on the final day of the Premier League season. Ruben Amorim made three changes to his starting line up as United signed off their season with a 2-0 win at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen.
Altay Bayindir Victor Lindelof and Ayden Heaven were all handed starting roles in the match, while Andre Onana was rested completely and Garnacho was not selected. The Argentine is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window after he questioned the decision not to start himself in the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Athletic revealed that Amorim addressed the United squad at the club’s Carrington training ground on Saturday to inform them of his intention to stay at the club and plans to sell Garnacho this summer.

Fan feeling towards Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho took part in the lap of appreciation after Manchester United defeated Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. The Argentine joined his teammates in a parade of the Old Trafford pitch along with their families, in what might have been his final time at the stadium as a United player.
The 20-year-old could have been in for a frosty reception after he questioned Ruben Amorim’s decision to drop him to the bench for their Europa League final defeat in midweek. “It's obviously tough for everyone after this season, which was really s**t, both now and after losing the Community Shield. We didn't beat anyone. Up until the final, I played every round, I helped the team. Today, playing 20 minutes... I don't know,” he told Tyc Sports in Bilbao.
However, United fans appeared to be in good spirits towards Garnacho and even chanted his ‘Viva Garnacho’ chant at him as he walked towards the Stretford End. Garnacho and his girlfriend, Eva, were serenaded by supporters as they walked towards the Old Trafford tunnel with their son, Enzo. The United forward waved back at fans, who wanted to thank him for all of his contribution towards the club.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Amorim remained coy on the future of the forward. “Onana was just for Altay to have this experience and sometimes the goalkeepers need space to play to feel important because we need two or three ready to play. Garnacho is a Manchester United player that is not in the squad today and I have no news that will change today. Garnacho is one more player of Manchester United. I don’t know what is going to happen in the future.”
