Liverpool are poised to kick-start the transfer spree for Arne Slot after the new leader clinched a Premier League title in his debut season at Anfield. Thanks to the graft of sporting director Richard Hughes, a slew of transfer deals could be wrapped up in no time.
With the summer transfer window swinging open this coming Sunday, Slot's team might already sport a new look by week's end. Below are the six potential arrivals and departures that are either on the brink of completion or could reach that stage in the next few days.

The not-so-secret exit of Alexander-Arnold has finally been confirmed by Slot and the player himself in an emotional video to fans. He's set to hop over to Real Madrid on a free transfer, and with Los Blancos reportedly ready to cough up a nominal fee to secure him ahead of next month's Club World Cup, it seems a dead cert that the deal will be officially unveiled at the earliest convenience.

Liverpool are leading the pack, ahead of Bayern Munich, in the chase for Leverkusen's attacking midfielder. It's believed that all parties involved are eager to wrap things up quickly, which might prompt Leverkusen to lower their hefty £126m price tag.
With a full week left before the transfer window opens, it seems the Reds have the upper hand.

Wirtz's versatility in attack, including his ability to play on the left wing, could see Diaz warming the bench.
While the Colombian's departure doesn't seem imminent, he has been linked with Barcelona for some time, and Blaugrana boss Deco has publicly expressed his admiration for the winger.

As Frimpong is expected to fill Alexander-Arnold's boots on the right side of defence, Liverpool appear set to secure Andy Robertson's successor on the left. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the Reds and Bournemouth are progressing smoothly, Kerkez is keen on the move and it 'could be done soon'.
