Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has told Chelsea what they need to go and do moving forward after yesterday’s success.
The big quotes came after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season yesterday.

The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
Work to do
Chelsea are going to need to make even more improvements to the squad to make sure it is fully equipped to go into Champions League football now next season.
This is where things will get very real and the young players are going to need to mature even more. But Merson believes they still need to add more experience as well in order to go forward.

Merson, who is a known Chelsea fan, has instructed his club to go out and bring in some more experience in order to improve even more.
He said:
“They [Chelsea] are a young team. They need experience… They haven’t got that experience. I know they keep on buying all the best youngsters, they’ve got to go out and get a bit of experience in. It’s priceless.
“When it’s not going well, you need that bit of experience around you to calm everything down. They haven’t had that. I think that’s what they’ve got to go out and buy.”
