Manchester United will have to undergo a big summer transfer window as a result of their failure to qualify for European football next season, alongside a shocking Premier League campaign that has seen them sit in 16th place in the table - and with Alejandro Garnacho set to leave, one star could be earmarked to replace him.
The Argentine has been left out of United's side to face Aston Villa on Sunday, all but signalling the end of his Red Devils career after four-and-a-half years at Old Trafford - but despite his personal relationship with Ruben Amorim suffering, his departure will see him missed in the north-west, and United must opt for another winger to replace his output this season.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that United are interested in a summer deal to land Jack Grealish from local rivals Manchester City - and that could be a deal worth doing given that the England international looks to have come to the end of his own journey in Manchester, where he currently earns an estimated £300,000-per-week.
The Independent's Miguel Delaney stated that there is a feeling at United that they need to start scoring goals again, and 'all parties' are interested in a deal that would see Grealish move to the Theatre of Dreams - including the playmaker himself.
Grealish has only scored three goals this season, one in each of the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup - whilst he only has five assists in all competitions as City failed to win at least one trophy for the campaign for the first time in eight years.

The 29-year-old needs a fresh start, having fallen behind Jeremy Doku in the pecking order under Pep Guardiola, and his availability for a move having failed to maintain a place in City's squad, means that United could be the perfect side for him to hone his craft.
190 Premier League appearances have seen him score 27 goals and record 31 assists, helping himself to three titles in the process, and that experience is sorely missed at United with only Jonny Evans having won the title in their current squad - his previous hoist of the trophy being in 2013 with United under Sir Alex Ferguson's last season as boss.
Grealish evidently has talent, but that hasn't been on offer in recent times at the Etihad Stadium and with United needing a new star to score and create goals, the former Villa man would be ideal.

Amad Diallo would be the only out-and-out winger should Garnacho depart, and whilst Mason Mount can fill in the wide areas, they need genuine attacking options to turn their poor season around. United have only scored 42 goals in the league this season prior to the final day, with only Everton and the bottom three scoring less throughout the campaign, which highlights their desperate need for new recruits.
Whilst a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha is edging closer to completion, Grealish would be an astute addition, and they could finally turn their poor form around if he makes the switch across the northern relic.
