Complete list of all 51 injuries Real Madrid have suffered this season

Real Madrid’s 2024–25 La Liga campaign ended not just with titles and drama, but also with an eye-watering injury toll.

A total of 51 injuries were recorded across the season, a figure that reflects the intense physical demands placed on the squad.

Among these were two major injuries—Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao—and three virus-related absences that further complicated squad rotation.

Only Luka Modric and Arda Guler managed to come through the season without suffering a physical injury.

Remarkably, 39-year-old Modric signed off from the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday after playing 57 matches, accumulating 2,801 minutes, a personal record for the Croatian veteran.

His only absence came due to a virus that also sidelined Rodrygo and Andriy Lunin earlier in the campaign.

What about the rest?

At the other end of the spectrum was Jesus Vallejo, who endured four separate injuries, the most of any Real Madrid player this season.

In total, 37 of the 51 injuries were muscular in nature, underlining the heavy strain imposed by a packed fixture schedule that offered little respite.

This relentless calendar took its toll, especially with international duties and UEFA competitions layered on top of domestic commitments.

The end of La Liga does not bring an end to Madrid’s demanding calendar either. Players are now shifting focus to the international break and the expanded Club World Cup, set to take place this summer.

Incoming manager Xabi Alonso now faces a daunting task of taking charge of a squad still carrying the physical and mental scars of a brutal season.

As things stand, seven players remain injured, namely Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger, Eduardo Camavinga, and the aforementioned Militao and Carvajal.

Of those, Brahim, Rodrygo, Alaba, and Rudiger are expected to recover in time for the next campaign, but their match readiness for the Club World Cup remains uncertain.
