Manchester City star Jack Grealish has responded to the club's recent win over Fulham by taking to social media amid ongoing uncertainty about his future.
The England international was left out of the City matchday squad for their 2-0 win over Marco Silva's side at Craven Cottage, with many viewing that snub as rendering his Etihad Stadium career all-but-over. However, boss Pep Guardiola was non-committal about Grealish's future at the club.
"It was selection," Guardiola said when asked about Grealish's absence. "The last two months, month and a half, there were five or six players at home every time and this time I decided for these guys. No more than that," he said.
"Of course Jack has to play. He's an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. It didn't happen this season and last season either.
"He needs to do it - with us or another place. It's a question for Jack, his agent, and the club.
"If he stays it will be fine and he fought like he fought from day one to make a contribution but not today. For example the FA Cup final I rotated and Rico and Macca were not there and Khusanov and Vitor and Echeverri were here so it's the same.
"I tried to move the players like it was there and today it was Jack, no more than that."
The 29-year-old, who signed for City for £100 million has played just 715 minutes in the top flight this season across 20 games, scoring once and assisting another. He's made a further 12 appearances in all competitions, scoring another two goals and notching another four assists in 806 minutes.
It's been a tough season for Grealish, but he's shown his support for his team-mates on social media after the win over the Cottagers, liking Instagram posts from goalscorers Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland.
German midfielder Gundogan shared a selection of images captioned: "Great result - Champions League football secured!!! Thanks for your support in this very challenging season." While Haaland shared a photo with the caption: "Finishing the @premierleague season with a win!"
