Liverpool head coach Arne Slot delivered an emotional address to his players back inside the locker room after Virgil van Dijk had lifted the Premier League trophy at Anfield.
In front of a packed stadium that included Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool continued the title celebrations on Sunday ahead of Monday's parade around the city. Reds legend Alan Hansen handed over the trophy and the likes of Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush were also in attendance.
Sharing a quick moment with his players, Slot thanked them for their work this season. He also made sure to give credit to his coaching staff, who have made a significant contribution but go a little more under the radar.
"I think today we showed again why we deserved to win the league," Slot said in a video posted on the club's social media channels.
"If you go down to 10 men, and the character we showed and the commitment we showed, to make it first 1-1, and then both teams of course had chances to score the second one.
"But we just kept on fighting. We have refused to lose this season so it has been an amazing season for us. The work that you have put in has been absolutely outstanding.
"But you were also able to do that because of the people standing there (pointing to his coaching staff). You owe the staff members who helped you to become the team that we became.
"So I think we should thank them. Well done boys!"
At that point, the players, sat around the outside of the room, erupted into cheers and applause. During the short speech, the camera panned to Alisson Becker, who was sipping on a beer.
Liverpool finished 10 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal in the end, overachieving considerably on what was expected when Slot took over from Klopp last summer.

"Another special day," Slot said in his post-match press conference. "Less pressure than four weeks ago, of course, when we had to win the game to get those celebrations.
"Now we knew we would get them. The energy in the stadium, how loud the fans were, the way the game ended in the last half-hour, going down to 10 men and then seeing such a great reaction from the players and the fans which led to, in my opinion, a deserved goal — we deserved to go 1-1.
"These players and these fans hate losing. We don't want to lose and that's what we showed again today."
Liverpool.com says: Slot has had an outstanding debut season, and the most exciting thing is that there is much more to come. This summer, his side will evolve even further, with the likes of Florian Wirtz being chased.
