West Ham United women’s team can confirm **Marika Bergman Lundin**, **Shannon Cooke**, **Emma Harries**, **Kirsty Smith** and **Katelin Talbert** will depart the Club upon the expiry of their contracts on 30 June.
Meanwhile, **Ruby Doe**, **Ellie Moore**, **Marnie Morrison**, **Macey Nicholls** and **Daniella Way**, who were all part of the Club’s Professional Game Academy, will also depart at the end of June.
Full-back Smith spent three seasons in Claret and Blue, making 73 appearances following her move from Manchester United in July 2022. The Scotland international, who scored two goals for the Club, was ever-present in the Barclays Women’s Super League for the Hammers in her first two terms in east London, before featuring 14 times in the league in 2024/25.
Meanwhile, Harries, having joined from Reading in the summer of 2023, made 37 appearances for the Irons, scoring five goals. The attacker netted a brace at home to Portsmouth in the Subway® Women’s League Cup in October 2024, before scoring her first WSL goals in a West Ham shirt in our record-breaking 7-1 victory over Crystal Palace last month.
Defender Cooke, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Birmingham City, also made 37 appearances for the Club since signing in January 2023. The 25-year-old netted a dramatic last-minute equaliser against Aston Villa in April 2024, earning a vital point at Villa Park.
Swedish midfielder Bergman Lundin will move on having played 14 times following her arrival from BK Häcken in January 2024, while goalkeeper Talbert, who joined in August 2023, spent time on loan at both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
