Crystal Palace will parade the FA Cup around the streets of South London on Monday

Crystal Palace ended one of the most memorable seasons in the club’s history with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.

The Eagles received a guard of honour from the champions following their FA Cup triumph at Wembley over Manchester City. They have also ended the campaign with 53 points - a record in the Premier League era.

The FA Cup is the club’s first-ever major trophy, and fans who were not at Wembley or those who missed the home win over Wolves will get the chance to get up close and personal with the players on Monday.

What time does the open-top bus parade start?

The parade will get underway at 12.45pm and start at the top of Whitehorse Lane. It will follow the road down to Park Road and then turn again at Holmesdale Road, and it is anticipated to last around 45 minutes to an hour.

Once the parade concludes, the party on the pitch inside Selhurst Park will include live entertainment, special guests, end-of-season awards, and the players with the FA Cup trophy. Supporters have been encouraged not to drive to the event due to the expected crowds, along with a number of road closures.

How can I watch the open-top bus parade online?

There has yet to be any information on how to watch the parade online for those who cannot be in attendance. The most likely way that the celebrations will be available will be via the club’s official online channels - such as YouTube, Facebook and other social media channels. It must be stressed that this has not been confirmed as of yet by the club.

Oliver Glasner reflects Crystal Palace season

Speaking after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool, manager Oliver Glasner said of the club’s 2024-25 campaign: “I think we have not reached our ceiling as a team, definitely not, but therefore it needs really hard work and also always being ready to invest in every single training, every single game.

“Now it’s off, now it's not thinking about football for a few weeks, and then we’ll prepare to be ready for the start of the season. And then again, I never think about which position we will have at the end of the season or whatever: it's just how can we raise our performance, and again in every single game I can see enough to do.”

On the draw at Anfield, he said: “I think today I have two feelings: I'm not really pleased with our performance today. A few players I think didn't play how we want to play, and this I didn’t like to see. I think that’s why we got the draw because there were so many situations, and we could have won this game.

“I don't forget our start to the season where it was a little bit similar – we missed our chances, we missed our opportunities, because of a little bit of a lack of determination – and this is how I felt today, and that's why I'm not really pleased with today's performance.

“On the other side of course it's an unbeaten end to the season, a point record [in the Premier League for Palace, 53], winning the FA Cup – so a fantastic season overall, and hopefully we learn from this game when we meet for pre-season next year.”
