“I haven’t decided anything” – Fulham player reveals what he’s told agent ahead of summer window

Fulham’s Andreas Pereira recently revealed his desire to stay at the London club saw him turn down Palmeiras in the winter market.

The midfielder has a contract lasting until 2026, with an option for another year. Recent claims from his country have insisted he has no plans to sign an extension with Fulham.

On May 15th, TNT Sports reported Nottingham Forest and Marseille are back in the mix to sign the midfielder after Fulham rejected their approaches last summer. Two days later, RTI Esporte stated Flamengo are planning a move for him in the summer window.

O Globo had a chat with the 29-year-old and specifically asked if his plans is to return to Brazil in the upcoming window or continue in Europe.

The former Manchester United man insists he hasn’t made up his mind and will consider the 2026 World Cup before making the final decision.

“I haven’t thought about it much. It was a tough end to the season. I told my agent that I’m going to take a vacation and stop playing. When I return, I want to prepare myself as best I can, because it’s a World Cup season. I want to be part of the group. I haven’t decided anything,” he said.

Perreira has played 2,344 minutes from 37 games in all competitions for Marco Silva’s side this season, scoring two goals and registering seven assists in the process.

When O Globo asked him to review his season at Fulham, Pereira said: “Considering my time with the Brazilian national team, which was very important, I’d give it an 8. I worked hard, I scored my first goal in qualifying [in the 4-0 win over Peru].

“Of course, there are always things I can improve on. But I’ve changed my position, I’ve played further back than in recent years, but I’ve still scored plenty of goals and created chances. It was very good for me.”
