Napoli Stepping Up Talks With Manchester United Over Kvaratskhelia Replacement

After selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG in the winter transfer window, Napoliare reportedly targeting a Manchester United standout as a replacement for the Georgian winger.

Kvaratskhelia left abig mark during his time in Serie A, racking up 30 goals and 29 assists across 107 appearances. Filling that void won’t be easy, but Napoli have their eyes on Alejandro Garnacho.

According to Fichajes, Garnacho’s future at Manchester United is uncertain this summer, and Napolihave already submitted an €80 million bid for the Argentine.

With Kvaratskhelia gone and Victor Osimhen also linked with a move away, Napoliare in the midst of a rebuild. Garnacho’s potential and attacking flair make him an appealing option to lead their next era.

Transfer insider Graeme Bailey told The Chelsea Chronicle that Garnacho is among the wingers Chelsea arekeeping an eye on, alongside Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

“Garnacho is very much still on Chelsea’s radar – they are looking for someone to operate from that left sideand they have done work ona lot of names,” Bailey said. “I am told that the three at the top of their list arecurrently Jamie Gittens, Nico Williamsand Garnacho.Williams is toughand to behonest I thinkas it standsis unlikely to come to Englandand if he does,am not sure Chelseaare top of his list.

“Gittens is different, we know Chelseaare working on him,we know they are in talks and trying to do something, but they are not alonewith Arsenal also in the mix. And Chelsea are not set on one targetand Garnacho is someone they like a lot, they tried to sign him in January.

“They know the player is keen on the move. And he is a huge talent, they think he would be a good fit. He seems to have been around forever but he is still just 20. Can you imagine a Garnacho, Palmer and Estevao trio behind their striker… Chelsea’s hierarchy clearly can.”
