One of Arsenal's potential signings, Viktor Gyokeres, might have had his final run-out for Sporting CP on Sunday, helping them clinch the Taca de Portugal against Benfica, reports Football London.
Sporting found themselves trailing 1-0 after Orkun Kokcu's early goal, but Gyokeres stepped up to slot home a penalty in the 11th minute of added time. Sporting then went on to secure the win with Conrad Harder and Francisco Trincao finding the net in extra-time.
Post-match, he commented: "I don't know anything, I tried to focus on the last few games, if something is true, we'll see," when quizzed about Arsenal's interest.

Following their victory at Southampton, Arsenal gaffer Arteta has confirmed that four players are set to leave the squad. Tierney, Jorginho, Raheem Sterling and goalie Neto are all on their way out.
"It was important to win it, it was important as well to say goodbye to a few players who have left our football club, to say thank you for their contribution.
"Some of them, like Kieran, they've been on this journey for six years with us. Jorginho, we're trying to hug him, Neto and Raheem as well. So, there are a few players that I had the duty to say thank you to. I think we all have and we wish them the best for the next season."

Martinez's Villa career has seemingly ended in infamy as he was sent off during their final day clash with Manchester United - after clattering into Rasmus Hojlund.
"I think it was 10-11 years I was here," Martinez told Sky Sports during his last trip to the Emirates. "I’ve still got friends here. I came here as a lad and left a man. I’ll always love this club.
"They are still second, they’ve come far and have one of the best managers in the world. I’ve worked with Mikel [Arteta]. I know how good he is."
