Liverpool's Premier League trophy parade is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators, but you don't need to be in the city to witness all the excitement.

Arne Slot and his squad will carry the trophy through the city this Bank Holiday Monday afternoon.

The Reds clinched the championship following a commanding 5-1 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur last month. Since then, Liverpool City Council, local businesses and the club itself have been diligently preparing for the forthcoming event.

This represents the first time in over thirty years that Liverpool have had the chance to parade the league title through their home city. Despite securing the Premier League title in 2020 under Jurgen Klopp, plans for a city-wide trophy tour were scuppered by the Covid pandemic.

However, the Reds did manage to hold parades to celebrate their Champions League victory in 2019 and their League and FA Cup wins in 2022, reports Wales Online.

The victory parade route will kick off at Allerton Maze and head north on Queens Drive towards the Childwall Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover.

The bus will then continue along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand before wrapping up at Blundell Street.

Liverpool City Council's Culture Liverpool team has been liaising with businesses and residents along the route to ensure they are aware of the event and its potential impact.

The parade is expected to start at the chime of 2.30pm and could keep the city buzzing for three to five joyful hours. Fans won't be short on places to grab a pint as Liverpool's parade route is decked out with plenty of pubs for the day's revelers.

For Reds who can't make it to Liverpool for the big bash, fear not, LFC has got you covered with sweeping coverage firing up from 1pm BST across their official social media juggernauts: YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, alongside X.

LFCTV goes live with the show too – so head over to Sky channel 423 or Virgin Media channel 544 in Blighty, or hop onto All Red Video for digital devotees familiar with what used to be LFCTV GO.

"We recommend those uncomfortable in large crowds choose a quieter location along the route which is away from major landmarks, or choose a wider street where there is more space to move around."
