Former Wanderer Conor Bradley is already an established Northern Ireland international and now a Premier League winner at 21.

Liverpool lifted the trophy following their 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday afternoon and are set for a parade in the city this afternoon.

Bradley made 29 appearances in all competitions this season as Arne Slot’s side finished 10 points clear of second-place Arsenal.

The 21-year-old has come a long way since starting out at St Patrick’s and Dungannon Swifts in his home country.

His first consistent run of games in English football came during his loan spell at Wanderers in 2022/23, playing 53 times and scoring seven goals as the Whites reached the play-offs.

"I've worked quite hard to get to this position I'm in now, so to be a part of the team and to have helped the team along the way to get this far and to get the Premier League trophy is very special,” Bradley told the club channels.

"Being so young, my mum and dad would have made so many sacrifices, just bringing me to training every week.

"As some people back home might know, I lived in the middle of nowhere so getting to places like Belfast is not close.

“My mum and dad would've had to drive an hour-and-a-half to take me to places. I owe a lot to them for where I am now.”

He added: "It's been a long journey and I'm just really happy we've got to this point."

The future looks bright for Bradley, who recently put pen to paper over a new long-term deal at Anfield.

The youngster will be keen to seize his chance following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move to Real Madrid, although the Reds have been heavily linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong who would provide strong competition at right-back.

After penning his new deal, Bradley said: "I think more than anything I'm just growing into my body a bit more now.

"I feel a lot more physically strong, I feel quicker, I feel more powerful – and I think that's really helping me when I do play games.

"I think there's massive improvement from this time last year, and hopefully I can keep going on that trajectory and just keep getting better.

"I just want to keep improving, keep getting better every day. I just want to try to maximise whatever my potential is and try to be the best version of myself. Hopefully, I can do that in the years to come and just keep getting better.”
