What Ruben Amorim's key player did after Aston Villa win showed his true character to Man Utd fans, he's sent important …

Casemiro shared a heartfelt moment with Manchester United fans in the aftermath of the Red Devils’ final Premier League match of the season against Aston Villa.

Ruben Amorim’s men finally returned to winning ways on Sunday after Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

United fell short of the Europa League trophy last Wednesday after Tottenham picked up a 1-0 win in the 2025 final at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.

Following United’s defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League in Spain, the Red Devils managed to bounce back with their performance on the weekend.

Villa reached half-time with a 0-0 scoreline on the board, but Unai Emery’s men were reduced to 10 men after Emiliano Martinez was sent off in first-half injury time.

United made the breakthrough against 10-man Villa deep into the second half after Amad Diallo netted the opener for Ruben Amorim’s side at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils ensured all three Premier League points on Sunday after Christian Eriksen came off the bench and the Danish midfielder converted from the spot-kick.

The Premier League result on the weekend allowed United to climb to 15th place in the table, with the Red Devils one point behind 14th-place West Ham.

Speaking after Sunday’s Premier League tie, United manager Amorim insisted that it was important for the Red Devils’ culture and standards to shift going forward.

“And in the day-by-day, the way we behave, who is in charge in Carrington, who decides things, I think we are changing that.
