Man Utd could sell Alejandro Garnacho and replace him with another Premier League star.
Manchester United could use the proposed sale of Alejandro Garnacho to finance a summer move for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. Ruben Amorim would like to add two attacking midfielders to his side in the coming months, with Mbeumo viewed as another ideal addition to the squad alongside Wolves talisman Matheus Cunha.
United are expected to progress with a move for Cunha after the conclusion of the Premier League season, with the player already sold on the vision at Old Trafford. United believe his £62.5 million release clause reflects good value for someone already proven in the English top-flight, while they also believe Cunha has the star quality and self-belief to flourish at the club.
There is also admiration for Mbeumo after a stellar season with Brentford that saw him net 20 goals and 7 assists in the Premier League. United will target players with top-flight experience this summer as they look to improve the athleticism of the first-team squad and sign those who have already shown they are capable with the demands of the division.

Alejandro Garnacho sale could fund move
Ruben Amorim has informed Alejandro Garnacho he is free to find a new club in the summer transfer window after the Argentine questioned the decision to be named on the bench for the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
United valued the 20-year-old forward at £60 million in the January transfer window but would accept a lower fee than that this summer in order to move him with minimal fuss. The fact United are so open to a sale has also weakened their hand from a negotiation perspective, though any fee received will still count as pure profit from a financial perspective and provide a huge boost to their summer budget.
Brentford open to Mbeumo sale
Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo faced off as Wolves drew 1-1 with Brentford on the final day of the Premier League season. United are close to completion on a deal to sign Wolves star Cunha, while they have explored the possibility of a summer move for Brentford ace Mbeumo.
Speaking after the final day draw at Molineux, Brentford boss Thomas Frank admitted they would be 'open to offers' for both Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa this summer as the pair enter the final year's of their current deals, tough they both have the option to extend by an additional season.
"That gives us a little bit of an advantage," boss Frank told BBC Match of the Day. "We'll decide for ourselves if we want to sell them or not. "But I've said many times before that we're a selling club. If the right bid comes in, we're open. Of course I'd like to keep them."
The 25-year-old forward, who has been dubbed a ‘mini Mo Salah’ by former talkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy, has a combined 121 goals and assists in 242 games for Brentford. He has netted 70 times while providing 51 assists.
