Wolves will be a Premier League club again next season, but fans likely won’t forget the 2024/25 campaign in a hurry.
Wanderers finished in 16th place in the Premier League table, amassing 41 points.
Vitor Pereira has done a terrific job at Molineux after coming in and replacing Gary O’Neil back in December.
It’s very much been a season of two halves for Wanderers.
Things looked very bleak when O’Neil left the club, but Pereira has come in and made a superb impact.
Ultimately though, it is disappointing to see Wolves finishing down in 16th, which is the club’s lowest finish since gaining promotion back to the top-flight in 2018.
Just ahead of Wolves’ final game against Brentford on Sunday, Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane gave his verdict on the season Wanderers have had.

Given how the first half of the season went, the most important thing for Pereira was always going to be keeping Wolves in the Premier League.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
In the end he achieved that with relative ease, with Wolves finishing 17 points clear of Leicester City.
Ahead of the final round of fixtures on Sunday, Sky pundit Roy Keane was on hand to offer his thoughts about each Premier League club and the season they’ve had.
About Wolves, Keane was asked for a one-word answer.
But the Manchester United legend couldn’t help but deliver a longer verdict.
He said: “Recovered well, I know we’re using more than one word, but recovered well haven’t they. From a really tough start, and the manager (has) done well there. He came in (and) steadied the ship.”

Wolves must push for top 10 or higher in 2025/26
Pereira has done brilliantly at Wolves.
But expectations will be high for next season after the club’s 16th-placed finish.
Wolves should be nowhere near the relegation zone with the players they have. Instead, Wolves could be looking towards finishing in the top 10.
And potentially, European football should be a target too, with the likes of Brighton, Brentford and Fulham all competing in 2024/25.
Wolves have been languishing for the past few years, and Fosun now need to back Pereira in a big way this summer to get the club back to where it needs to be.
Andy Thompson recently suggested Wolves can win a trophy next term and possibly push for Europe, and fans would love to think that can be possible.
