There will be changes to the city's roads, buses and trains as huge crowds are expected to line the streets for Liverpool FC's parade. After securing their historic 20th English league title with a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield last month, excitement has been building across Merseyside for the club’s much-anticipated victory celebrations.
It means some roads and Merseyrail stations will be closed. Buses will also divert or finish earlier. We will be bringing you the latest travel updates below.
Liverpool FC parade route
The Liverpool FC parade will begin at Allerton Maze and travel northbound on Queens Drive, continuing through key areas of the city:
Queens Drive
Mill Bank
West Derby Road
Islington
Leeds Street
The Strand
Finishing at Blundell Street
