The last but one game, which contained ten matches, was Ipswich vs West Ham. Introducing the game, Lineker said: _“Relegated Ipswich signed off from the Premier League looking to end a run of eight straight defeats at Portman Road, West Ham were their opponents. James Fielden was watching.”_

It didn’t take long for the error to be spotted and pointed out on social media, with both West Ham and Everton fans pointing out the obvious gaffe.

One supporter said, _“Moyes had a busy Final Day, eh BBC MOTD Navigating Everton and West Ham’s away wins, simultaneously, from two dugouts”_
