Arsenal signed off for the season with a victory against bottom-of-the-table Southampton.
The Gunners had to work for it but a last-gasp goal from substitute Martin Odegaard sealed all three points.
Before the captain’s winner, Kieran Tierney had put Mikel Arteta’s side into the lead. It was a special moment for the Scotland international as it was his final game for the club.
The Saints got back on level terms when Ross Stewart headed in from a corner but the away side were not to be denied as Odegaard scored with a fine strike from just outside the box on 89 minutes.
