Manchester United’s senior staff have been dropping like flies since Sir Jim Ratcliffe took charge at Old Trafford just over a year ago.
Over recent months high-profile senior staff have left the club as part of INEOS’ restructure, including the club’s head scout Steve Brown and head of operations Jackie Kay.
The pair are also joined by Richard Hawkins, the director of football insights and innovations, and David Harrison, the director of football operations, however the list goes on.
The trio of Annie Hale, director of people and transformation, James Holroyd, commercial development officer, and Florence Lafaye, a London-based commercial director have also left the club in this mass overhaul.
Now, another senior member of staff becomes the latest to leave, with The Athletic reporting that Paul Brand’s time at Old Trafford is ending.

Paul Brand leaves Manchester United
Brand has been the head of performance analysis at Manchester United since 2020 after joining United’s analyst team in 2013 from Blackburn Rovers.
Over this time, the 37-year-old has worked with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Erik ten Hag, Ruud van Nistelrooy, David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, Louis van Gaal, Michael Carrick, Ralf Rangnick and Ruben Amorim, helping United win one Europa League, two FA Cups, and two EFL Cups.
Now, 12 years after moving to Old Trafford, Brand is set to leave The Red Devils.
It’s understood that Brand will be helping the United hierarchy to recruit his replacement though, and carrying out a handover before he leaves.
